Key Responsibilities

  • •Communicate and implement the DHCM HSE Management System and emergency response plan with district and community stakeholders.
  • •Review fire and life safety drawings for code compliance and provide HSE advisory on health, safety, and fire factors affecting residents, businesses, and visitors.
  • •Attend incidents/emergencies, ensure reports are prepared, investigate incidents/near misses, implement corrective actions, and produce trend analysis.
  • •Manage contractor and service provider HSE compliance through inspections, audits, site visits, risk evaluations, and approval/review of general and safety permits.
  • •Conduct internal HSE audits and risk assessments, develop risk-based inspection plans, support HSE training, and liaise with HSE regulators and industry groups.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HSE.
  • •Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and NEBOSH International Diploma (Level 6 Occupational Health & Safety) are preferred.
  • •At least 5 years’ experience managing Health & Safety within community management or similar environments.
  • •Proven experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and obtaining third-party certification for Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
  • •Strong understanding of international HSE standards and requirements, including ISO 14001/ISO 45001, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and NFPA standards.
