Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned construction projects by establishing schedules and project parameters, generating tasks/estimates/dependencies, and supporting milestone planning and CPM/histogram analysis.
  • •Work with the engineering team to support engineering programming and materials selection activities related to projects.
  • •Assist with establishing and maintaining an operations budget by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring cost-at-completion accuracy.
  • •Support preparation of subcontractor RFQs, including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and schedule of values.
  • •Receive and qualify subcontractor proposals and help supervise assigned project staff, subcontractors, and installers while supporting scope, budget, performance, and close-out communication.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program for the full 12-week internship, with preference for Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Have completed at least sophomore/2nd year before the start of the summer internship.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods through coursework, projects, groups, or related hands-on experience.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with proof of insurance and no major/frequent traffic violations (including specified offenses) in the previous 3 years.
