Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate client onboarding including managing Financial Advisor prospect pipelines, assisting with proposals, preparing paperwork, opening accounts, transitioning new assets, and establishing communication plans.
  • •Answer incoming phone calls, manage client needs when possible, and advise Financial Advisors on actions taken.
  • •Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems and leverage reporting, mailings, and e-mail tracking to implement client service models.
  • •Assemble materials for client meetings and coordinate seminars/client events as directed, including developing client lists and presentation content.
  • •Ensure adherence to firm and financial industry regulatory policies, initiate/complete transactions to service client accounts, and enter investment orders per advisor/client direction.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam plus Series 7 and Series 66, or Series 63 and Series 65 (or willing to study and obtain within 18 months).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Detail oriented and strongly organized, with understanding of compliance regulations and correspondence policies.
