Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead integration of propulsion and fuel system changes across airplane systems with robust design solutions for product improvements.
  • •Plan, oversee, review, and approve engineering products and deliverables to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness.
  • •Maintain Boeing design oversight for supplier-provided fuel system components, including reviewing and approving supplier drawings, engineering change proposals, and configuration updates.
  • •Provide on-site factory and delivery support in North Charleston by troubleshooting production-line issues, supporting holds, performing pre-delivery inspections, and assisting with delivery acceptance.
  • •Coordinate qualification testing and analyze test, certification, and production data to support timely dispositions and safety/airworthiness investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • •5+ years of experience working in an engineering discipline.
  • •Willing and able to travel 10-20% of the time, domestically and internationally.
  • •Knowledge of airplane safety, certification, and applicable regulations.
  • •Proven ability to plan and execute qualification testing, produce technical documentation, and manage configuration and requirements.
