Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide effective instruction and assessment during clinical practice trainings for health sciences students across classroom, lab, hospital, and community settings.
  • •Coordinate with outreach and work-integrated learning to secure approvals for student placements and apprenticeships with relevant medical education departments.
  • •Orient students to clinical sites (locations, schedules, evaluation methods, expectations) and support faculty with clinical skill objectives and competencies.
  • •Review student portfolios, assign aligned learning activities, monitor progress, and complete mid- and final-rotation written and verbal evaluations.
  • •Serve as a role model and mentor, facilitate interactions with site management and health care professionals, maintain confidentiality, and report concerns to faculty.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in a relevant health sciences field (e.g., Health Information Management, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Emergency Medical Science, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, Social Work, or Medical Imaging).
  • •Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in the specialized discipline.
  • •Valid licensure in the country of qualification and/or ability to obtain licensure in the UAE.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English with strong presentation, demonstration, and communication skills.
  • •Clinical teaching experience and a high degree of computer literacy, including using technology in the learning environment.
