Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a multi-disciplinary team and provide technical leadership for mid-large size transportation projects and programs in Transit.
  • •Lead, manage and provide technical expertise for projects including heavy and light rail, commuter rail, bus and ferry; scope and estimate projects.
  • •Provide the organization with technical leadership and strategic direction for delivery of projects; prepare technical reports and analyses.
  • •Mentor junior staff and participate in workforce planning for AECOM’s Transportation Business Line; coordinate with other Transit market Sectors.
  • •Develop and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities, and manage project scope, budgets and schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Civil or Structural Engineering plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • •Preferred: minimum of 15 years professional experience; minimum of 10 years transit experience; MBTA/CTDOT experience; knowledge of FRA/DOT/AREMA and local railroad/transit criteria; strong communication skills; advanced degree in Engineering; Rail Program Management experience.
