Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide electrical and mechanical design and documentation support for power distribution or control product lines, including engineering designs and drawings.
  • •Consult with plant and field sales engineers to interpret and define new equipment applications.
  • •Develop complex drawings and bills of material and coordinate mechanical/electrical interfaces with other products.
  • •Manage manufacturing and engineering change notices and advise drafting/design, manufacturing, and purchasing as needed to meet purchaser requirements.
  • •Support production and customers by resolving issues after equipment shipment, conducting complex special development/application projects, and participating in technical training and seminars as required.

Salary: 69,000 - 87,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical Engineering degree or technical diploma.
  • •Knowledge of CSA standard and CEC code.
  • •At least 1 year of experience applying control and switchgear assembly products up to 38kV.
  • •Competency using MS-Office and AutoCAD.
  • •Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship (and able to work onsite at the Edmonton facility).
