Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate vehicle, equipment, and materiel movements in compliance with DTR 4500.9-R and Army regulations.
  • •Oversee scheduling, routing, and dispatching of trucks, convoys, and material handling equipment.
  • •Verify cargo documentation requirements (e.g., DD Form 1348-1A, DD Form 626, DD Form 836) and ensure shipment/accountability accuracy.
  • •Maintain transportation records, provide daily/weekly/monthly status reports, support audits/inspections, and investigate accidents/incidents with corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Supervise transportation/logistics operations with 5+ years of transportation/logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • •Familiarity with U.S. Army transportation and supply regulations (AR 55-355, AR 710-2, AR 735-5) and DTR 4500.9-R.
  • •Knowledge of Army logistics systems such as TC-AIMS II, GCSS-Army, and DPAS.
  • •Ability to ensure compliance with cargo documentation requirements and transportation safety/hazardous materials handling standards.
  • •High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Transportation/Supply Chain preferred (equivalent military experience acceptable).
