Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather and clarify reporting requirements with business and IT stakeholders, including metric definitions and underlying data sources.
  • •Translate requirements into solution design covering data model, KPI/measure definitions, report structure, security model, and refresh approach.
  • •Design and build robust Power BI data models using star schema design, relationships, date/calendar tables, hierarchies, and role-playing dimensions.
  • •Write and optimize DAX measures and calculated tables, including time intelligence and performance tuning of slow measures.
  • •Implement row-level security and manage Power BI Service operations such as publishing, scheduled refresh, gateway configuration, refresh troubleshooting, and access management.

Key Requirements

  • •3–6 years of hands-on experience building and delivering Power BI solutions in a client or enterprise environment.
  • •Strong DAX skills including measures, time intelligence, and the ability to debug and optimize existing DAX.
  • •Strong Power Query/M skills for data transformation across multiple source systems.
  • •Solid data modelling capability, including dimensional modeling and star schema design that improves performance.
  • •Practical experience implementing row-level security and administering Power BI Service (workspaces, apps, scheduled refresh, and gateway setup).
