Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with internal teams and studio stakeholders to prototype and harden tools for contemporary development workflows and engine integration.
  • •Set up and maintain project-specific environments, including automation opportunities.
  • •Learn and support varying client working environments, assets, and tools.
  • •Write, maintain, and customize internal tools and workflows, including building and maintaining technical documentation.
  • •Attend and participate in PlayStation internal demonstrations and conferences; travel required.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in a game development studio (or equivalent) building artist-facing tools in a production environment.
  • •Extensive experience with Autodesk Maya, including strong Maya rigging knowledge.
  • •Capable of writing and debugging C++ for tools that support character creation, rigging, simulation, or animation pipelines.
  • •Strong understanding of deformation and mesh processing for character animation pipelines, including relevant industry trends.
  • •Experience leveraging Agentic AI models to accelerate code creation and testing, with familiarity working across complex real-time environments.
