Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
  • •Operate the mixer truck safely and professionally on highways, roads, in-yard areas, and at job sites to deliver concrete.
  • •Inspect the truck each workday, complete the Driver Check-off Sheet, and ensure systems are functioning properly.
  • •Back truck under batching plant/hopper to receive concrete, deliver to the point of delivery, and maneuver as needed.
  • •Maintain truck cleanliness and perform basic maintenance, including spraying and cleaning after loads to prevent concrete buildup.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Must possess and maintain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • •Must possess and maintain a valid Medical Card per DOT requirements and be eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce.
  • •Must be 18 years or older and pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • •Experience in ready mixed trucks or related industry experience is preferred.
