Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across engineering teams using Ruby and Java.
  • •Act as a domain expert for Stripe payments, especially payout methods and underlying rails for US/UK.
  • •Build and enhance software infrastructure across the full development lifecycle including testing, deployment, debugging, and maintenance.
  • •Contribute to interface design and code across the stack, from launching payout method API changes to making UI changes in the Stripe Dashboard.
  • •Scope and lead technical projects, plan roadmaps, evaluate technology/architecture trade-offs, ensure secure systems for sensitive data, and participate in the 24/7 on-call rota for production incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field plus 2 years of software development experience.
