Job Summary

Install, commission, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain advanced instrumentation and control systems for natural gas processing and pipeline facilities in the Watford City area. Work with PLC, DCS, SCADA, safety interlocks, analyzers, and high- and low-voltage equipment, performing preventive maintenance and measurement witness tests. Serve as a technical leader in the field, mentoring less-senior technicians and maintaining detailed records for safety and operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate/adjust, and maintain instrumentation, analyzers, SCADA systems/RTUs, DCS, PLC systems, and related equipment.
•Perform preventative maintenance and/or analytical testing on compressors/engines, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
•Maintain electrical power circuits, switch gear, and power distribution including high voltage.
•Perform and/or observe measurement equipment witness tests and maintain security/intrusion systems.
•Maintain reports and records (maintenance/repair, safety/environmental, electrical schematics/diagrams, pressure readings, and material/supply orders).

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 87,000 - 131,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating/adjusting, and maintaining electrical/electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, measurement, control and automation systems.
•Experience using manual/power tools, electronic testing devices, and control devices.
•Experience with gas processing fundamentals, computers and related software, and governmental rules/regulations and applicable (electric) codes.
•Ability to read and interpret repair orders, mechanical drawings, procedures, charts/diagrams, dials, gauges, and equipment manuals.
•Experience preparing and verifying maintenance and repair records, safety/environmental reports, electrical schematics/diagrams, pressure readings, and material/supply orders.
