Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and ship moderate to complex backend features with minimal guidance, making pragmatic architectural choices.
  • •Advocate for product quality, security, availability, and performance; define backend standards for maintainability, testing, APIs, and operational readiness.
  • •Mentor and lead associate/intermediate engineers, remove blockers, and improve delivery practices via code and design reviews.
  • •Diagnose and prevent performance and reliability issues at scale; participate in incident response as a technical owner when appropriate.
  • •Use AI in production engineering work to improve outcomes, evaluate effectiveness, and coach responsible high-judgment use.
