Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics and repairs on mobile mining equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, and ancillary equipment.
  • •Conduct preventive maintenance activities in accordance with OEM guidelines and established maintenance schedules.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • •Service and repair auxiliary equipment such as light vehicles, compressors, pumps, and generators.
  • •Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in mechanics or maintenance preferred.
  • •Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in mining, heavy equipment, construction, industrial, or similar environments.
  • •Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, drivetrains, electrical systems, and heavy equipment components.
  • •Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic documentation.
  • •Proficiency with troubleshooting tools, mechanical testing equipment, and service trucks.
