Job Summary

Hands-on Deployment & Training Engineer who helps customers deploy, operate, and scale ArangoDB-based AI systems across AKS, EKS, OpenShift, and on-prem clusters. Build Helm-based deployment bundles, troubleshoot Kubernetes and networking issues, and validate cluster health and performance. Enable customer teams through documentation, workshops, and setup support while investigating performance across compute, storage, and query layers with DBAs and ML engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Deploy and maintain ArangoDB and ArangoAI components across AKS, EKS, OpenShift, and on-prem clusters.
•Build and maintain Helm-based deployment bundles and combined stacks.
•Troubleshoot Kubernetes-level issues (PVC/PV mapping, storage performance, pod scheduling, cluster access, network policies) and resolve load balancer/service routing problems.
•Train customer teams via documentation, workshops, hands-on labs, and coaching toward long-term self-sufficiency.
•Investigate performance issues across compute, storage, and query layers, collaborating with DBAs and ML engineers to review query plans and index usage.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of deployment engineering experience.
•Strong experience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/OpenShift) and Helm.
•Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and on-prem environments.
•Ability to debug networking issues including load balancers, DNS, and ingress controllers.
•Comfort with Linux/SSH and cluster-admin workflows.
