Key Responsibilities

  • •Negotiate, draft, and review complex commercial agreements, including technology licensing and SaaS, supply agreements, service contracts, and joint development agreements related to industrial automation.
  • •Provide legal advice on contract strategy, risk management, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, compliance, and other business units to support contract execution and operational objectives.
  • •Support dispute resolution and contract compliance monitoring, and deliver targeted training on legal best practices to business unit leaders and functional teams.
  • •Advise on legal risks associated with AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies, and conduct proactive risk analyses to guide new product launches, partnerships, and market expansions.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution or equivalent law degree (Bachelor of Laws, LLB).
  • •Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar or eligibility to sit for a U.S. state bar exam.
  • •Minimum of 5 years’ experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, including technology licensing and SaaS.
  • •Experience supporting industrial and technology projects as in-house counsel or at a law firm with a significant technology-related practice.
  • •Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate legal risk and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
