Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute production non-conformance management (MRB, vendor defects, quality audits, production containments) and drive root cause, resolution, and preventative actions.
  • •Analyze production defect data and run quality reviews to drive corrective actions; identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and scrap.
  • •Monitor first pass yield (FPY) and true yield to maintain stable production meeting required production rate, reliability, and cost.
  • •Assist production with process improvements and provide training to production technicians to ensure standards are met; ensure successful transition from development to high volume production.
  • •Perform area audits in compliance with ISO 9001 and partner with cross-functional teams (manufacturing engineering, design engineering, supply chain, customer support) to reduce and eliminate impacts from production defects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, math, or science-related discipline OR a high school diploma/equivalency plus 2+ years of experience in hands-on engineering, reliability, manufacturing, or quality environments.
  • •Experience conducting hardware root cause investigation and containment activity in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with J-STD-001 Class 2, IPC-A-610 Class 2 (or equivalent) in a hardware production environment.
  • •Experience programming/loading/operating automated production or test equipment, including electrical test and environmental testing (e.g., HALT).
  • •Excellent computer skills and ability to use quality/technical knowledge to recommend process and design improvements.
