Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end revenue and accounts receivable cycle in NetSuite, ensuring timely sales order creation, correct FRS102 revenue recognition, and monthly AR ledger reconciliation.
  • •Drive month-end close to a defined timetable, completing the close by working day four and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are evidenced and reviewed by working day seven.
  • •Manage UK VAT compliance from preparation through filing with audit-ready workpapers, accurate reconciliations, and on-time submissions.
  • •Take ownership of UK payroll once HiBob transition completes, processing monthly runs accurately and maintaining clean payroll-to-NetSuite reconciliations.
  • •Oversee banking, treasury, and payment controls, including rolling cash flow forecasting, NetSuite bank reconciliations, and control of payment runs; deliver quarterly process improvements or automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate core finance processes end-to-end in a fast-paced or high-growth environment, with personal ownership of recurring cycles like revenue, VAT, payroll, or month-end close.
  • •Use NetSuite hands-on across multiple functional areas (including Advanced Revenue Management, intercompany transactions, and reconciliation workflows), with experience optimizing configurations.
  • •Prepare and file UK VAT returns with strong understanding of coding, reconciliation, and treatment of non-UK sales and purchases, maintaining documentation suitable for HMRC queries.
  • •Take meaningful responsibility for the full month-end close process, including the sequence of steps, working to a timetable, and strengthening controls/documentation.
  • •Demonstrate a consistent drive to improve and automate manual processes, while keeping manual controls when appropriate; align with finance values in a high-trust environment.
