Job Summary

Take on a developing L2 networking managed services role focused on keeping client IT infrastructure operational. You’ll monitor and manage client requests and tickets, investigate and resolve medium-complexity incidents, and ensure swift service restoration aligned with SLAs. Partner with clients and internal teams, support shift handovers and escalations, contribute to automation efforts, and assist with monitoring, change management, and quality audits.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively monitor, investigate, and resolve client incidents and technical problems, ensuring service restoration aligned with SLAs.
•Review and triage client requests and tickets, applying technical expertise to handle second-line support for medium complexity cases.
•Update tickets with actions taken, identify and log issues before escalation, and communicate with clients and internal teams for risk-managed changes.
•Support shift handovers by highlighting key tickets and upcoming critical tasks, and escalate items to Centres of Excellence (CoE) and other teams when needed.
•Contribute to automation by collaborating with automation teams, coaching Service desk/L1 teams, establishing monitoring, and supporting change management and quality audits.

Key Requirements

•Proficiency with networking technologies including Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Nexus switches/routers/firewalls (and related tools).
•At least one technical certification in the networking technologies listed above.
•Strong planning skills with the ability to anticipate and adapt to changing circumstances.
•Ability to communicate and work effectively across different cultures, with client-centric communication and active listening.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing (or equivalent qualification/experience).
