Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end: outcomes and metrics, value/risk/dependency-driven backlog prioritization, and acceptance criteria for build and testing.
  • •Partner with engineering to shape technical design across money-movement correctness, third-party rail behavior, failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
  • •Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, even under pushback from engineering/compliance/ops.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy) and manage launch gates.
  • •Apply AI responsibly by defining allowed decisions, human-in-the-loop boundaries, evaluation, and behaviors when uncertain; ship features behind flags through partner and regulatory gates.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgment under ambiguity and the ability to balance ambition against technical, regulatory, and operational reality.
  • •Strong system design fundamentals, including boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency; can challenge design docs and sketch architecture/sequence.
  • •Experience in a regulated, high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance, and understanding of money-movement correctness (irreversible states, partner constraints).
  • •Hands-on AI judgment for LLM-based products, including defining what can be decided, evaluation approaches (offline/online/human feedback), and when models must not be in the loop.
  • •Nice to have: an engineer or highly-technical PM background, zero-to-one experience, shipped AI-heavy consumer products, defined ML/LLM eval metrics, AI UX, and SEA market experience.
