Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across sectors including health, defence, transport, commercial, aviation, and data-centres.
  • •Lead mechanical and multi-discipline building services design and end-to-end project delivery, including oversight of technical quality and coordination across other disciplines.
  • •Maintain and grow client relationships to support business development and secure a future pipeline of work.
  • •Collaborate within multi-disciplinary engineering teams and drive quality outcomes through review of design calculations, specifications, models, and drawings.
  • •Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior and intermediate engineers and strengthen AECOM’s national building engineering offering.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years’ experience in building services consultancy or contracting design with strong mechanical engineering background.
  • •Chartered status (CPEng) is essential (other registrations highly regarded).
  • •Demonstrated leadership in technical design and multi-disciplinary project delivery.
  • •Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead multidiscipline bids while collaborating with senior leaders.
  • •Australian Citizenship is required with current (or previously held) defence clearance.
