Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot Sentinel radar systems supporting the US Army’s air defense mission. Perform PMCS using IETMs, execute diagnostics, fault isolation, alignment, calibration, and repair verification. Support 24/7 operations by managing spares and records, using test equipment and hand tools, and coordinating generator/vehicle operation. Work as part of a team of up to six at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, with potential travel to additional remote sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform regular Sentinel maintenance and PMCS per IETMs.
•Conduct first/second-level diagnostics, fault isolation, alignment, calibration, and repair verification for Sentinel radar.
•Maintain accountability of RTX spares and keep inventory and maintenance records to support 24/7 operations.
•Coordinate with the US Army and contractors to support Sentinel emplacement/march order and 400Hz generator / FMTV vehicle operations.
•Use hand tools and test equipment to support troubleshooting, support shipping records for spares, and travel to additional remote sites as needed.

Key Requirements

•A university degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years experience.
•3+ years operating and maintaining radar systems, including S band and/or X band artillery search and acquisition radars (e.g., Firefinder and Sentinel).
•3+ years using technical manuals, interpreting product drawings and/or reading schematics to troubleshoot system failures.
•3+ years working with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, and digital multimeters.
•Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance (and U.S. citizenship requirement).
