Job Summary

Senior Merchandising Analyst for Sephora Europe’s Minis & More (RGM) team. Defines and optimizes brand allocation in stores across European countries, driving productivity and assortment strategy. Analyzes performance, collaborates with Supply Chain, Finance, Market Studies, and countries to create planograms, toolboxes, and data-driven recommendations that maximize store productivity and growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct productivity analyses to identify assortment optimization opportunities.
•Develop space allocation recommendations by axis and product type to optimize store coverage.
•Propose product distribution strategies based on market performance and trends; manage product lifecycle and consolidation of assortment.
•Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to share product lists and consolidate results; coordinate with Market Studies on customer acquisition and repurchase; communicate product lists for planograms and store toolboxes.
•Develop and implement top management reports related to axis, brand, and product productivity; define and monitor KPIs to optimize store performance.
•Actively participate in the Space Allocation strategy across axes with data-driven analyses and recommendations.

Key Requirements

•Master degree (business or engineering school or equivalent university Master 2)
•4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in retail / merchandising
•Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
•Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (Excel indispensable)
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders
