Key Responsibilities

  • •Cultivate and manage relationships with prismatic battery cell suppliers and prospective suppliers.
  • •Set and track supplier performance KPIs (quality, delivery reliability, cost-effectiveness) and drive rapid corrective actions.
  • •Negotiate and maintain supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and addressing deviations with stakeholders.
  • •Forecast demand for battery cell requirements with demand planning and implement inventory optimization strategies with suppliers.
  • •Lead cross-functional execution of the commodity strategy and mitigate supply risks (disruptions, quality issues, geopolitical factors) across the product life cycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (or relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s).
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or engineering related to battery cell & enclosures.
  • •Proven experience analyzing complex problems with consulting, supply chain, and data analytics.
  • •Excellent communication and judgment working with stakeholders independently.
