Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop embedded firmware test approaches for SSDs and improve firmware reliability through thorough validation.
  • •Use Python and scripting tools to accelerate firmware development workflows, including AI-assisted code generation and unit test generation.
  • •Apply AI agentic workflows to firmware debugging and root-cause analysis (RCA) while maintaining engineer-in-the-loop validation.
  • •Collaborate in multi-functional teams and manage competing priorities under time pressure.
  • •Support team success through leadership/supervision of junior engineers and technicians and continuous upskilling on evolving AI tools.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth expertise in embedded firmware development and extensive experience in firmware testing.

  • •Experience with SSD/HDD/storage systems and storage interfaces including PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS.
