Job Summary

Drive ready-mix trucks safely and professionally from the plant to commercial and residential job sites in the St. George area. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, verify mix specifications after loading and at the site, operate chute and unloading processes, and maintain the truck and equipment in a clean, safe condition. Work closely with supervisors to deliver concrete reliably and complete additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive ready mix trucks safely and professionally in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at job sites to deliver products.
•Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition.
•Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
•Verify compliance with mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
•Operate the truck and discharge chute to unload concrete, clean the truck after delivery, and place/operate chutes to deliver product as directed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
•1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.
•Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or Class B and a valid DOT-standard Medical Card.
