Own and harden Riverside’s security posture by bridging code and infrastructure. Define and implement security processes, architect DSPM strategies for distributed video data, and harden the SDLC. Work hands-on with vulnerabilities alongside the DevOps team while integrating security tooling into GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Partner directly with developers to make security a core part of engineering, including IAM and CSPM.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and implement high-level security processes and ensure security is fundamental to engineering.
•Collaborate with the DevOps team to fix vulnerabilities and maintain strong security posture.
•Architect DSPM strategies for massive distributed video data.
•Harden the SDLC to improve security across the software lifecycle.
•Integrate security tooling directly into GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Terraform workflows.

Key Requirements

•Take full ownership of Riverside’s security landscape and anticipate threats to the platform and PII.
•Have 4+ years blending AppSec, DevSecOps, and SecOps, comfortable with IAM and CSPM as well as deep code reviews.
•Proven experience securing massive, distributed data environments while protecting high-value content and ensuring PII integrity at scale.
•Hands-on experience with AWS and integrating security tooling into GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Terraform workflows.
•Understand compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and GDPR, and communicate effectively with developers.
