Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end product development and launch of assigned life insurance products, including HNW, endowment, retirement, and index-linked savings plans.
  • •Convert customer insights, market trends, and distribution feedback into differentiated product propositions and innovative products.
  • •Partner with Actuarial on benefit design and pricing to balance customer value, competitiveness, profitability, and risk.
  • •Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation and approvals through implementation, launch, and post-launch review.
  • •Drive cross-functional delivery and go-to-market readiness, monitor performance KPIs, and ensure MAS-aligned governance and compliance across product documentation and audit readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience in life insurance product development/management or closely related roles.
  • •Strong knowledge of traditional savings/retirement products and index-linked savings plans, with awareness of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • •Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage stakeholders across diverse functions.
  • •Strong commercial and analytical skills, including positioning, product benchmarking, experience tracking, and improving product performance metrics (e.g., profitability, persistency, sales).
  • •Strong understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle (ideation, governance, and regulatory requirements), with a proactive approach to improving ways of working and using AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.
