Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to perception & sensing work across computer vision, LiDAR, sensor fusion, SLAM, and state estimation.
  • •Work on control & dynamics problems including motion planning, trajectory optimization, reinforcement learning, and actuation.
  • •Develop robotics software systems using ROS/ROS2 and programming in C++ and Python.
  • •Design and prototype hardware/system components including mechanical design, mechatronics, and rapid prototyping.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale Apollo from research toward commercialization and production readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Background in robotics, autonomous systems, control theory, or perception.
  • •Graduate-level interest (MS/PhD) and/or early-career to experienced experience across robotics and AI.
  • •Experience with perception and sensing topics such as computer vision, LiDAR, sensor fusion, SLAM, or state estimation.
  • •Experience with control and dynamics topics such as motion planning, trajectory optimization, reinforcement learning, or actuation.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with robotics software and systems such as ROS/ROS2, C++/Python, embedded systems, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
