Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage complex, high-value strategic bids and bid teams through the full bid lifecycle.
  • •Ensure appropriate bid governance and bid review processes are followed, including organising review and approval meetings.
  • •Provide input into strategic bid capture planning and opportunity qualification.
  • •Develop customised solutions with clients and Opportunity Directors and lead formulation of winning strategies, tender planning, and response delivery.
  • •Coach and train colleagues on the bid process and associated skills, and support continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to degree level in an appropriate subject.
  • •APMP Foundation qualification (minimum).
  • •Accurate and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Adobe suite and InDesign (desired) plus graphics skills.
  • •Previous experience in a similar role in engineering and construction, including producing tenders in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland markets.
  • •Expert experience as a senior bid manager with a proven track record of winning bids, with strong bid writing, commercial, and governance knowledge.
