Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while following traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading goods/materials using specialized equipment; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine truck service tasks; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a Class A CDL or the appropriate chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must pass DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs) and be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • •Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and lift/move up to 40 pounds as required.
