Hands-on, customer-facing Forward Deployed Engineer who designs and productionizes data, AI, and application solutions on the Databricks platform. You own architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver end-to-end deployments for enterprise clients, embedding with customer teams, and shaping best practices that scale across accounts to drive measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead production-grade data, AI, and application deployments for enterprise clients, designing reference architectures and data ingestion/ML model integration.
•Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build and deployment of big data and AI applications with input from engagement teams.
•Embed with customer teams to understand challenges, bootstrap projects, and drive adoption of Databricks solutions.
•Own architecture decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
•Collaborate with engineering, project managers, architects, and customer teams to deliver all technical components of the engagement and provide feedback for product improvements.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,656 - 248,360 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering
•Proficiency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks
•Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one
•Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals
•Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
