Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate safety process efforts in commercial sales/service offices as directed by the Regional EHS Leader.
  • •Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and jobsite visits with technicians at customer sites for both service and contracting work.
  • •Maintain safety, occupational health, and environmental records in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements and Trane procedures.
  • •Analyze safety data to coordinate continual improvement, participate in Lean processes (including Regional EHS A3), and support safety training and new-hire onboarding.
  • •Lead and support safety committees, investigations, corrective actions, and contractor evaluation within the regional contractor qualification program.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or Safety Sciences/Engineering (or related field).
  • •Safety-related professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHSM) desired.
  • •Minimum 3 years of practical environmental health and safety management experience at a medium-large site.
  • •General knowledge of Cal-OSHA, EPA, MSHA, and DOT; experience interpreting federal, provincial/state/local environmental and safety standards.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and an EHS data management system (e.g., Gensuite), plus strong communication in English.
