Job Summary

Serve as the primary technical interface for medium-voltage generator systems used for mission-critical data center backup power. You’ll support data center sales by translating customer requirements into compliant system designs, leading RFQ/RFP responses with specifications and documentation, and producing electrical diagrams and protection schemes. Perform load flow and short-circuit analysis, support integration with UPS/BMS/switchgear/utility systems, and assist with FAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical training.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary technical resource supporting data center sales opportunities.
•Develop and present technical solutions based on customer requirements and lead RFQ/RFP responses (system design, specifications, and documentation).
•Size and specify medium-voltage generator systems (≥2 MW) and associated distribution equipment.
•Develop one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and protection schemes; support integration with UPS, BMS, switchgear, and utility systems.
•Perform system analysis (load flow, short circuit, system performance), ensure compliance with relevant standards, and support FAT, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
•5–10+ years of experience in power generation, electrical engineering, or related fields.
•Experience with medium-voltage systems and generator applications.
•Direct experience with data center or mission-critical environments preferred.
•Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications and work with protection systems, controls, and power distribution.
