Key Responsibilities

  • •Design the architecture of software modules for new simulation tools or models.
  • •Develop simulation models and tools for the simulated aircraft environment (e.g., sensors, tactical environment, communication, visualization).
  • •Develop simulation models representing aircraft equipment within the simulation.
  • •Implement software components (mainly C++) and integrate in-house or external software components.
  • •Perform integration testing and implement unit tests for new and existing software modules, including improving development processes (e.g., code generators and build-pipelines).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Relevant experience in software development, including software design, procedural/object-oriented programming, and unit/integration/system testing.
  • •Strong proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with distributed systems and simulation frameworks.
  • •Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Powershell.
  • •Knowledge of build systems and packaging (e.g., CMake, conan.io, RPM, DEB) plus QT (QML/QtQuick) and proficiency with Linux and Windows.
