Job Summary

You will inspect piping-related products and documentation to ensure compliance with Wood, client, and industry standards. Based on ISO 9001 awareness, you’ll validate inspection requirements, witness testing, review quality records, and generate inspection progress reports across worksites, suppliers, and warehouses on a program or project basis.

Key Responsibilities

•Validate inspection requirements and carry out inspection activities at worksites including suppliers, warehouses, etc.
•Witness/review of testing activities in compliance with Inspection and test plan requirements
•Verification that appropriate approvals are in place prior to commencement of specific works (e.g. weld procedures are approved, welder certification, etc.)
•Review and endorsement of quality records raised as an output from manufacturing and installation processes
•Generation of inspection and progress reports as required

Key Requirements

•Degree/diploma or local equivalent in quality or technical discipline (desirable)
•Inspection certificate in a relevant discipline (e.g. welding/electrical/mechanical) from a recognized industry or national body (essential)
•Radiographic interpretation certificate (piping welding inspectors only – desirable)
•Quality auditor qualification by a recognized industry body (desirable)
•5+ years relevant experience (Preferably in the associated industry)
