Key Responsibilities

•Manage the central financial and commercial view of Burberry’s IT landscape, including budgets, vendor spend, contracts, renewals, investment commitments, risk exposure, and total cost of ownership.
•Provide IT cost transparency and financial insight across products, programmes, platforms, and run activities to support accurate technology spend and investment allocation.
•Support portfolio investment decision-making through affordability modelling, financial analysis, scenario planning, and coordination with the Portfolio Management Office.
•Define and maintain IT financial governance standards, ensuring consistent treatment of budgets, forecasts, accruals, and capex/opex classification across the technology organisation.
•Coordinate cross-supplier QBRs and performance reviews and run contract renewal pipelines (6–12 month horizon) with alignment to technology roadmap and platform strategy.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in technology business management (TBM), IT financial management, commercial governance, vendor management, or supplier strategy within a technology environment.
•Strong financial management capability across budgeting, forecasting, cost modelling, accrual management, and capex/opex classification in an IT context.
•Experience delivering IT cost transparency, investment insight, and financial reporting to senior technology leadership.
•Strong commercial and supplier management expertise, including contract lifecycle management, vendor performance governance, and commercial optimisation.
•Solid understanding of enterprise technology cost structures and commercial models (e.g., software licensing, SaaS, cloud, consumption-based charging, and related services).
