Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the POA&M end to end, keeping it current, submitting on contractual cadence, and ensuring signed items are accurate.
  • •Run NIST 800-171 self-assessment workbooks through completion, maintain the SPRS score, and drive remediation items to closure.
  • •Manage federal contract and agency paperwork (e.g., DD Form 254, DD Form 2345, JCP registration, PIEE/SPRS portal administration, SAM.gov, and security questionnaires/DFARS flowdowns).
  • •Track contractual SLAs from incident notification through reviews and annual affirmations, and prove compliance.
  • •Own the obligation register and compliance control-to-evidence mapping, plus personnel security operations (US-person verification, background screening tiers, access onboarding/offboarding, and quarterly access reviews).

Key Requirements

  • •Direct experience submitting in federal portals, SPRS and PIEE specifically.
  • •Run a NIST 800-171 self-assessment or RMF package end to end, with personal accountability for the outcome.
  • •Computed a SPRS score and can explain the mechanics behind the 110-control basis and POA&M impact.
  • •Hands-on with NIST 800-53 Rev 5 inside a real SSP, including what a control implementation statement must contain for assessors.
  • •Current on FedRAMP (2026) and fluent in 20x, including certification classes, key security indicators, machine-readable packages, and continuous validation.
