Job Summary

Create accurate take-offs, cost/labor estimates, and proposals for inbound RFQs. Review drawings and technical documents to complete pricing and quotes, coordinate with sales and other functional teams, and communicate directly with customers on quantity verification and quote structure. Manage multiple bids of varying complexity, prepare bid packages with vendors, and support improvement initiatives including historical data and ERP win/loss closing.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete take-offs and quotes for RFQs brought in by the outside sales team.
•Send quotes to customers before due dates and ensure outside sales is copied on correspondence.
•Communicate directly with customers regarding quantity verification/confirmation and quote structure.
•Work with the sales team on proposal strategy, basis-of-design changes, and value engineering options.
•Review drawings and documentation to prepare cost and labor estimates; manage bids and coordinate bid packages with vendors.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
•Working knowledge of how to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
•3+ years of recent construction and/or bidding experience (plus).
