Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals, diagnose issues, and order parts.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Use laptops and tablets to support diagnostics, work orders, and documentation.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot failures at the shop and on customer locations, assist with setup/operation of equipment, and maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Experience reading and knowing schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements.
