Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage site engineering responsibilities, including capital assets, process safety, utility systems, automation, and strategic reliability-based maintenance.
  • •Prepare and implement an asset capital plan for replacement, cost reduction, expansion, and process/safety upgrades.
  • •Identify, justify, and implement capital projects for operations and SHE, ensuring completion on time, in budget, technically accurate, and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • •Apply and develop “Design for Reliability” philosophy across safety, maintainability, operability, and quality for projects in operating and HSE areas.
  • •Maintain critical utilities (steam, compressed air, chill water, cooling tower water, effluent) and ensure asset reliability of rotating equipment; develop maintenance strategies using RCM, FMEA, and PM/PdM.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (chemical or mechanical preferred) and reliability certifications (CMRP) preferred.
  • •10+ years in a chemical and/or food plant environment with large rotating equipment and unit operations (reaction, distillation, extrusion, separation, drying) in a GMP environment.
  • •Knowledge of plant utility systems (power, steam, compressed air, cooling, effluent, environmental) and predictive maintenance tools for real-time asset health in business-critical settings.
  • •Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and using related techniques to develop a strategic maintenance plan for critical assets.
  • •Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) protocols and experience with project engineering management processes and CAPEX budget controls.
