Join our engineering team to build and operate the AWS GovCloud environment for federal customers, focusing on repeatable IaC, secure container pipelines, and observability. You’ll enable compliant, scalable deployments across government and commercial contexts, contribute to FedRAMP/CMMC readiness, and support on-call incident response while shaping our technical direction from a security-first perspective.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and operate the AWS GovCloud environment for federal customers from foundational networking through to production-ready infrastructure.
•Design and implement repeatable infrastructure-as-code to provision dedicated customer environments.
•Own the container image pipeline for government deployment, including building, hardening, scanning, and promoting FIPS-compliant images in CI/CD.
•Identify and fix availability risks and monitoring gaps to keep government environments healthy, observable, and auditable.
•Collaborate with assessment partners to produce infrastructure documentation and evidence needed for FedRAMP authorization and guide assessors through design decisions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 210,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years in an infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering role with meaningful time spent in AWS
•Hands-on experience designing VPC architectures, configuring encryption at rest and in transit, and operating AWS native compute, database, and caching services in production
•Experience with infrastructure-as-code like CDK or Terraform in FedRAMP or CMMC environments, preferably for a customer-facing SaaS product
•Experience operating in a compliance-regulated environment (FedRAMP, FISMA or similar) and documenting decisions for auditable evidence
•Experience with container image pipelines, hardening, vulnerability scanning, and least-privilege access controls
