Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as primary finance contact for the Australian business and support local operations in collaboration with regional teams.
  • •Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, and employee expense claims.
  • •Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in line with company policies and accounting standards.
  • •Perform reconciliations and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • •Coordinate GST/BAS reporting, corporate tax requirements, audit deliverables, and serve as a key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and service providers.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, with a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
  • •Minimum 5 of 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • •Solid experience managing full sets of accounts, month-end closing, and financial reporting activities.
  • •Good understanding of Australian statutory, tax, and corporate compliance requirements, including liaising with auditors and tax advisors.
