Key Responsibilities

  • •Own pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties: cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
  • •Complete feasibility studies, produce procurement reports, and develop and present final cost plans.
  • •Manage tendering and procurement processes, including pre-qualification, tender list creation, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender reporting, and compiling contractual documents.
  • •Handle post-contract cost variances with change control processes, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking, valuations, and reporting to clients.
  • •Produce monthly post-contract cost reports, negotiate final accounts, and interface with clients and consultants across all project stages.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10–15 years of relevant work experience, ideally within a consultancy, with detailed knowledge of the Real Estate / Infrastructure sector.
  • •Excellent measurement capability for infrastructure/building works, with strong accuracy and efficiency.
  • •Experience in interim applications, change management, variation valuation, and extension of time claims.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
  • •Professional membership (MRICS), excellent written and spoken English, and confidence presenting to clients and stakeholders.
