Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as key day-to-day client interface and provide a value-added cost management service across manufacturing, laboratory, R&D, and related capital projects.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Review and participate with design services and general contractor teams to develop cost estimates; reconcile changes to ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, change of control processes, and cost/contingency management and commitment tracking logs.
  • •Prepare funding data presentations, coordinate VE sessions, produce monthly cost reports, and support timely negotiation and agreement of final accounts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 118,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; excellent communication skills.
