Job Summary

Lead delivery of a capital improvement program delivering water and sewer infrastructure, overseeing programming, design, construction, and closeout phases. Manage procurement of consultant teams and contractors, develop project management plans, and provide schedule review, executive briefings, and issue resolution. Oversee delivery team performance, mentor and develop staff, and manage client and stakeholder relationships while improving operational performance metrics and ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a Program Manager on a capital improvement program delivering water and sewer facilities projects.
•Lead delivery of multiple projects across programming, design, construction, and closeout phases.
•Develop and maintain project management plans including program controls, risk management, safety management, quality control, and environmental compliance.
•Provide independent review of project progress and monthly executive-level briefings; perform schedule review and analysis.
•Support and empower staff and direct reports, manage delivery team performance, and develop client and stakeholder relationships.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 315,000 - 330,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar).
•Licensed as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist in Illinois (or readily obtainable).
•15 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in planning, design, and construction management of civil engineering projects involving water and sewer infrastructure.
•Experience managing megaproject(s) (projects over $500M).
•Proven experience managing the work of a large group of subordinate consultant personnel.
