Key Responsibilities

  • •Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, and application/mixing procedures.
  • •Perform agronomy/seed operations and monitor/maintain quality of inventory.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment (legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks).
  • •Maintain record keeping and periodic housecleaning processes.
  • •Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed, while complying with environmental and safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Gain general agronomy knowledge across scouting, crop protection, nutrients, seed, and related procedures.
  • •Be able to perform agronomy/seed operations as needed.
  • •Assist with compliance by working in an environment compliant with state, local, and CHS environmental and safety policy.
