Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times to support testing during installation.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller, then integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Troubleshoot installation problems by gathering and analyzing information and developing alternative solutions; work with wiring harnesses and CAN network scenarios.
  • •Travel to client sites and EquipmentShare rental yards for installation cases, occasionally working outside business hours and weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools; experience in a related field (electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, or similar).
  • •Ability to drive, maneuver in tight spaces, bend/squat/walk long distances, and lift 25+ lb.
  • •Open to traveling within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time, including occasional after-hours/weekend work.
  • •Own tools, have a clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check (including a 10-panel drug screen for this safety-sensitive role).
