Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement HSE management systems, policies, and procedures, and drive a strong safety-first culture across sites, contractors, and internal teams.
  • •Oversee safety performance across construction and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and project safety standards.
  • •Conduct and lead site audits, inspections, and safety reviews; review and approve RAMS, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • •Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented; develop and monitor safety KPIs.
  • •Ensure environmental compliance (permitting and environmental risk monitoring), produce HSE reports, maintain records, and support audits and ESG compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •3–7 years of experience in HSE roles within construction, energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • •Strong experience in utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, wind, or large infrastructure projects.
  • •NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) essential.
  • •Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation and CDM Regulations.
  • •Experience managing HSE across multiple construction sites or projects, including audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
